Top Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Padamavati’s set was sabotaged and set on fire, late at 2 am on Tuesday in Kolhapur.
About 50 unidentified men allegedly threw petrol bombs on the sets and everything in the surrounding of the sets was severely burnt.
This is the second time Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati sets have been vandalized. Earlier, the film starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor ran into trouble in Jaipur when members of the Karni Sena from Rajasthan accused the filmmaker of portraying the queen in a bad light.
