Shah Rukh Khan s Alibaug Villa under tax radar

MUMBAI – A written complaint has been filed in Khar Police Station by activist Surendra Dhavale against Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan and Deja Vu Farms company for using forged papers to acquire the plot used to build the Alibaug Villa. The complain was made on January 11, 2017.

Sources reveal that the actor had floated a company and then ‘loaned’ the company an amount of Rs 8.45 crore to buy the farmland for agricultural purposes but built a luxury villa instead. According to the rules, any sort of construction is not allowed on the land as it would be in disregard of the coastal rules.

Rajendra Kane, a police inspector at Khar Police Station said, “We are waiting for the report. Once, it comes we would decide what would be our next plan of action.” Mr Kane also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and his family members had not been summoned for their replies or sought any case details till now.

The total area consists of 5 plots running along the sea. To construct a building over there would mean to deplete the natural beauty of the beach which extends further for about 20 meters from the land.
