India reach World Cup 2023 Final, beating New Zealand by 70 runs

MUMBAI – India have marched into the World Cup 2023 Final after outclassing New Zealand in the first semi-final of the grand fixture today.

The Team Blue took a strong start with Rohit Sharma hitting 47 runs and Shubman Gill 79 before he was retired hurt.

Virat Kohli maintained the momentum and played a record-breaking inning of 117 runs before he was caught by Conway while Iyer also smashed a century to boost the total.

Sheryas Iyer also made 105 off 70 to give a boost to the total. He was dismissed after he pulled poorly and caught by Mitchell.
