The band Rolling Stones are unhappy that the billionaire has been involved in a pay-per-view deal where a gig in 1989 would air on pay-per-view TV, it is claimed.
Stones tour producer Michael Cohl drew up a contract which barred Trump for promoting the concert in Atlantic City or even attending the show.
However, the tycoon arranged a press conference before they were due on stage.
Cohl said: “They call me back in to the dressing room, at which point Keith pulls out a knife and slams it on the table and says, ‘What the hell do I have you for?
Insiders said the stand-off could be the reason for bad blood between the band and the Republican presidential candidate.
He has angered the Stones by playing their music at rallies, despite being told to stop.
