PESHAWAR (Staff Report) – At least ten militants were killed and six others arrested by armed forces in Orakzai Agency in operation Zarb-e-Azb on Thursday.
As many as 12 militant hideouts were also destroyed during the action of security forces where a large cache of weapons was also held.
The latest operation was carried out in Shekhan area of Orakzai, said military sources.
The Pakistan army has been battling Tehreek-e-Taliban and other local and foreign extremist groups in the country’s disturbed tribal belt since June 2014.
Forces launched operations Khyber-I and Khyber-II as well to curb terrorism.
