LAHORE – A 17-year-old boy lost his life due to a wrong injection administered by a fake doctor in the Chuhang area. The police have registered a case against the suspect under the charges of accidental manslaughter.
According to media reports, Sumaira Bibi took her son, Abu Bakar Umar, to quack Muhammad Ashfaq for treatment. The quack gave Abu Bakar a wrong injection, which worsened his condition. He was taken to Jinnah Hospital for treatment, where Abu Bakar passed away.
SHO Chuhang Nasir Hameed stated that a case has been registered under Section 319, and the investigation has begun.
Fake doctor Muhammad Ashfaq is on the run, and raids are being conducted to arrest him.
