Will Second Lunar Eclipse Of 2024 Be Visible In Pakistan

The second lunar eclipse of this year will occur on Sept 18, but it will not be visible in Pakistan.

The partial lunar eclipse will be visible in the United States, most European countries, Australia, Africa, Northern and Eastern Asia.

The penumbral phase of the eclipse will begin at 7:12 AM, with the peak of the eclipse occurring at 7:44 AM and lasting until 8:15 AM. The penumbral phase will end at 9:47 AM.

A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth comes between the Moon and the Sun, blocking sunlight from reaching the Moon and causing it to become obscured.

Lunar eclipses can be partial or total, depending on the Moon’s orbit.

According to NASA, during a lunar eclipse, the Moon enters Earth’s shadow, but some light still reaches the Moon.
