England vs Pakistan, 1st Test, Day 4: Pakistan set 283 runs target (Live Score): Pakistan beat England by 75 runs

LONDON (Staff Report) – Pakistan beat England by 75 runs.

Pakistan on Sunday set 283 runs target for England after the whole team collapsed at 215 runs on the beginning of the fourth day of the first Test at the Lord’s. London.

Earlier, Pakistan resumed batting from 214/8, when Yasir Shah (30 runs) and Muhammad Amir (Zero runs) started the day’s play to further strengthen the team’s lead in second innings. However, they could add only one run.

On Saturday, Pakistan completed the 3rd day of the match in a strong position with an overall lead of 281 runs.  Wickets fell regularly at Lord’s, however, Sarfraz Ahmed (45) and Asad Shafiq (49) jointly built a good score.

Chris Woakes took 5-31 as England tried to limit the damage of losing their last three wickets for 12 runs in the morning session when they added only 19 runs to their overnight score.

England had resumed on 253 for seven in reply to Pakistan’s 339 all out but Yasir’s leg spin outfoxed the hosts in the morning. Shah took six wickets as England were dismissed for 272.
