Mehwish Hayat is a Japanese geisha in new photoshoot, and Pakistanis are bewildered
DUBAI - Mehwish Hayat recently posted a video of her latest photoshoot sporting a Japanese geisha avatar, and needless to say, Pakistanis don't get it at all.
Mehwish was shooting for Berger Paints. She posted a video on her Instagram with the caption:
"Transformation diaries: Creativity is about pushing the boundaries and experimenting. This has to be one of the most interesting shoots I did recently for Berger Paints!"

Interesting enough, the video went viral and the comments below are very entertaining. From accusations of cultural appropriation and mistaking a Japanese geisha for a Chinese, Pakistanis have left no stone unturned in being sarcastic in their own right.
