A royal reception was hosted on Tuesday for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and it was a star-studded night.
Many, including celebrities, were invited to be attended the event. Celebs such as Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Atif Aslam, Wasim Akram, Hareem Farooq, Momina Mustehsan, Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, designers such as Kamiar Rokni, Maheen Khan and HSY made an appearance at the event.
Among them was Mehwish Hayat, who managed to take a picture talking to Prince William and shared a lovely little note for the royal couple and their trip to Pakistan.
The Tamgha-e-Imtiaz winner expressed her delight at meeting the British Royals and hoped the joy Prince William felt at being in Pakistan can now help bring a change in the current image that Pakistan has throughout the world.
Writes Hayat, “Was a real pleasure to meet with the royal visitors last night. William is a real-life Prince Charming and was genuinely excited about being here.”

She added, “Hope that this visit helps show the world the real side of Pakistan and not what media has been showing.”
