KARACHI – A disturbing incident has been reported from a residential building in Karachi’s Lea Market, where bodies of four women found dead with their throats slit.
Police told media that women had been strangled, and there were torture marks on their bodies. The deceased were found dead in separate rooms.
All four women were assaulted before being murdered. The victims included a mother, daughter, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law, aged 51, 19, 18, and 13, respectively.
The head of the household, Muhammad Farooq, reported that he and his two sons were not home at the time of the incident and stated that he had no suspicions regarding who might have committed the murders.
The police have transferred the bodies of the deceased women to the civil hospital for medico-legal procedures.
