NEW YORK – US actress Julia Roberts has been named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2017.
It is the fifth time People magazine have given the title to the 49-year-old beauty.
Roberts, who won an Academy Award for “Erin Brockovich,” says she is “very flattered” by the experience.
Julia – who has children Hazel and Phinnaeus, 12, and Henry, nine, with husband Danny Moder – first scooped the title in 1991 when she was 23 years old, a year after she shot to fame in ‘Pretty Woman’.
The magazine announced Roberts’ selection on Wednesday. The 49-year-old actress has previously claimed the cover spot in 2010, 2005, 2000 and 1991.
People’s 28th annual “World’s Most Beautiful” double-issue will be on newsstands Friday.
