FAISALABAD – Interesting comments made by Dolphins mentor Sarfaraz Ahmed about Babar Azam during the Champions One-Day Cup match have gone viral on social media.
Yesterday, the Dolphins faced the Stallions in the Champions Cup, where they suffered their third consecutive defeat in the tournament. In this match, white-ball captain Babar Azam played an unbeaten innings of 104 runs, including 7 fours and 3 sixes.
While keeping wickets, Sarfaraz Ahmed addressed the bowler, saying, “There’s no rush, just tell those guys to keep saying ‘Babar, Babar.’ We’ll let Babar play for 40 overs; the rest will get out.”
Sarfaraz’s comments were captured by the stump mic, and the video quickly spread across social media.
In the match, Babar Azam came in to bat after 13 overs and remained not out after 50 overs.
