CJP Nisar falls ill in Chitral

CHITRAL – Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, who is in Chitral on a private tour with his family, is suffering from fever due to infection in his chest.

Due to the illness, the top judge reached the hilly area on Wednesday night to spend some quality time with his family. During the three-day tour, the chief justice was scheduled to visit Gollan Valley, Kalash valley and Shandur Lake.

However, the physician has advised him not to travel to the distant places as he could not carry on his visit due to the fever.

The physician told an English daily that the chief justice was recovering but he was not in a position to go anywhere by road, adding that he has been asked to go back to Islamabad by a plane which will be available on Friday today.
