MENLO PARK – Facebook-owned social pictures and video sharing application Instagram has introduces new ‘Mute’ feature in its application.
The new feature allows users to Mute or hide subscriber’s posts without unfollowing them permanently.
The feature can be accessed by heading to the Options (…) menu in the corner of a post and the users will see options to mute posts, or mute both posts and stories from the account.
Users can also mute posts and stories by pressing and holding on a story or from a profile.
The Mute feature will be for Andriod and iOS users in coming weeks.
