An interview has been released on BBC News that had Bilal Ashraf of ‘Janaan’ and ‘Mobilink Jazz’ fame as the guest for the day.
Bilal was told to speak about the on-going situation in Pakistan, and why there’s a negative image attached to the country.
The anchor further went on to say that UK’s top ten features Janaan in the list, and boy are we proud to hear that one!
Bilal stated that ‘it has a strong social message, which highlights child abuse, and the importance of educating children in Pakistan, and we represent Pakistan in the best possible way in the movie because there is so much negativity around’.
Ashraf further went on to say that there is going to be a time when Pakistan will make their mark in the world of cinema: tentatively in 4 to 5 years.
