ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has called upon the provincial governments and traders to cooperate to “save electricity” and offset the country’s electricity shortage.
In a statement, he said early closure of markets especially in Karachi and Punjab could help save 1500MW.
He added that a megawatt saved was far better than a megawatt generated.
