Women have been subjected to violence around the world. Patriarchy has constructed these standards of men being strong and powerful. When they feel threatened or insecure due to their fragile masculinity violence occurs. According to White Ribbon Pakistan reported domestic violence cases from 2004-2016 there have been 1843 cases.
Sadly women subjected to violence hesitate to report this cruelty due to various reasons. Twitter is celebrating International day for elimination of violence against women. Toxic relationships have scared many women around the globe. It’s time to speak up!
