LAHORE – Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh who was recently seen in Soorma, has been honoured by Madam Tassauds with his own wax figure.
He is set to be the first Punjabi actor and singer to be sharing space amongst various other known personalities in the wax museum such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Asha Bhonsle, Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonu Nigam among others.
He made this announcement with the following tweet, “Finally Yeh Din Bhi Aa Gaya @madametussaudsdelhi #Madamtussauds”.
Madame Tussauds Delhi wrote, “We are glad to announce that @diljitdosanjh would be the first actor/musician from the Punjabi film industry to have his figure at #TussaudsDelhi. It’s time for some Dhol and Bhangra at Madame Tussauds.”

The team took over 200 measurements with photographs of Diljit for the wax figure which will be kept in the music zone at the museum.
