KARACHI (Web Desk) – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday detained five more employees of Axact, further tightening the screw on the software house accused of running a global fake degree empire, local media reported.
Director General FIA Sindh, Shahid Hayat, led a team of investigators who raided the company’s Karachi headquarters and took five employees into custody.
The fresh raid came a day after FIA arrested Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh, the CEO of Axact, and discovered thousands of blank diplomas from the company’s head office.
