ISLAMABAD – UAE’s ride-hailing company, Careem will begin its operation in Quetta from Thursday, hoping to receive a good response from the public in the Balochistan capital.
Careem is an app-based car service provider which facilitates the customers at their fingertips.
Careem Public Relation Officer Sibtain Naqvi told Associated Press of Pakistan that only Careem’s ‘Go and Rickshaw’ services are being launched in Quetta in the beginning and other services would be introduced in near future.
He added the company would expand the radius of its services to other cities as well in coming days ahead.
Quetta is the 13th Pakistani city, where Careem is going to provide its services. Other cities include: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Abbottabad, Sargodha, and Mardan.

Besides Pakistan and UAE, the Dubai-based company offers its services in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait, Turkey, Oman, Palestine, and Iraq.
