LAHORE – Food is an important element in maintaining the health, mind, and body of human beings. With the increasing obesity rate worldwide, people are getting conscious with their food intake and meals choice.

Some people believe junk food like burger, chips, candies are tastier and they crave for these items for than fruits and vegetables.

However, for a healthy lifestyle, eating fresh and less calorie food items is necessary. Here are the 7 healthy food items choice which you can replace with commonly eaten processed food items:

1# Almonds: Almonds are the ultimate crunchy treat. They contain heart-healthy fats, are very nutritious and require no preparation. Almonds are packed with antioxidants.

3#  Popcorn: Not many people know that popcorn is actually a whole grain. It is relatively low in calories and contains high amounts of fiber. Whole grains may have numerous health benefits, including improved digestion and reduced risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
