LAHORE – According to recent reports, Wali Hamid has refused to proceed with divorce proceedings against his wife, Noor Bukhari.
However, the court earlier on Thursday ordered unilateral action to be taken against Wali in the Khula case.
The directions came after Wali failed to attend the court hearing despite requests of repeated summons.
Noor has also been directed by the judge in case to record her statement.
On Monday, Noor had filed a case demanding ‘khula’ from her husband, Wali Hamid, while explaining her desire to put an end to her fourth marriage.
Noor married Wali Hamid in 2015. He is known for his classical singing and starred for the first time on the big screen opposite Noor Bukhari in Pakistani film ‘Ishq Positive.’
