LAHORE – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (aka Oscars) has requested a copy of the screenplay of the film ‘Eik Larki Ko Dekha Tou Aisa Laga’ for the permanent Core Collection.
The film, that also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla, has won hearts even outside India owing to its concept. The film’s screenplay will become a part of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Library.
Fox Star Studio presents ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. This film also marks as a debut film of Shelly Chopra Dhar. The film released across the country on 1st February 2019.
India Today critic Ananya Bhattacharya rated it 4 out of 5 stars and wrote in her review, “Director Shelly Chopra Dhar puts her heart and soul in this love story. In the post-377 India, this is exactly what a Bollywood needed. It shows the mirror to our commercial films, which are always about the normal love stories. The stories that are always about a Raj falling in love with a Simran and never a Sweety falling for a Kuhu.”
