ISLAMABAD – Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani on Thursday announced cricket team of Upper House of the Parliament and said it would play a match with National Assembly team soon.
The Senate Cricket Team is consisted of Leader of the House Shibli Faraz, Mushahidullah Khan, Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Ahmed Khan, Mirza Afridi, Sajjad Turi, Dilawar Khan, Muhammad Ali Khan Saif, Waleed Iqbal, Shahzeb Durrani, Taj Afridi, Bilal-ur-Rehman, Faisal Javed, Javed Abbasi, Gianchand, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Nauman Wazir, Bahramand Khan Tangi, Manzoor Ahmed, Shafique Tareen and Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Jamot, according to a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman Senate vowed that the House of Federation would protect rights of all federating units and play its active role in promotion of healthy activities in the country.
