FAISALABAD – At least eight members of a family were killed when a truck hit passenger van near Sahianwala Interchange on Lahore-Faisalabad Motorway on Tuesday morning.
According to media reports, the accident occurred when a van carrying members of same family, hailing from Chak Jhumra, hit a truck at the Sahianwala Interchange from behind, killing eight persons, including three women and two children.
One person was injured in the mishap. The van was on its way to Faisalabad from Lahore.
The victims have been shifted to Allied Hospital Faisalabad by rescue teams.
