ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday made a telephone call to British counterpart Boris Johnson and discussed the developments regarding Kashmir.
According to a statement issued by UK PM’s office, the leaders ‘discussed the serious situation in Kashmir and agreed on the importance of maintaining dialogue’.
It said both the leaders underlined their continued commitment to the bilateral relationship between the UK and Pakistan.
Pakistan’s prime minister also congratulated Boris Johnson on assuming office as the UK prime minister.

Pakistan is engaging the international community to intervene after India unilaterally scrapped the special status of Kashmir valley.
Earlier in the day, Islamabad decided to downgrade ties with India, directing its High Commissioner to leave the country besides suspension of bilateral trade.
