OGRA proposes reducing petroleum prices for October

ISLAMABAD – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommended on Friday, a reduction in the prices for petroleum products.

According to a summary sent to the Petroleum Division, the OGRA suggested to slash the per-litre prices of petrol, diesel, and light diesel oil by Rs2.55, Rs3.23, and Rs2.41, respectively.

Furthermore, the rate of kerosene oil has been suggested to be reduced by Rs1.19 per litre.

If the summary is approved, the revised prices would come into effect from October 1, 2019.
