PERTH (Staff Report) – Australian pacer Mitchell Starc Sunday bowled the fastest delivery of Test history, remaining just 0.9km/h short of Shoaib Akhtar’s historic fastest 161.3km/h delivery, during the ongoing game against New Zealand in Perth.
Starc clocked a pace of 160.4km/h while bowling a delivery to Brendon McCullum.

Meanwhile on another delivery of the Australian pacer also caused damage to McCullum’s bat. The delivery was thrown at 154km/h speed.

Mitchell Starc is now placed at number four after Australia’s Shaun Tate (160.7km/h) and Brett Lee (161.1km/h), and Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar (161.3km/h).
