LAHORE (Staff Report) – While Pakistani fast-bowler Muhammad Amir, who was convicted for involvement in match fixing, is outshining all other pacers at Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has excluded his name from Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to a report of ARY News, the PCB has finalised a list of as many as 90 players who will participate in first edition of PSl that is scheduled to be held in February next year.

“Muhammad Amir was included in the initial list of players however he was dropped by the board after objections by several cricketers,” the report added.
PCB’s Najam Sethi, who also heads a committee related to PSL, wants Amir to play the T20 league and prove himself to return to Pakistan team however he lacks support of majority people in the board.
Meanwhile former captain Wasim Akram, who is also a PSL ambassador, feels Muhammad Amir should be given a second chance.
“Our religion Islam teaches to forgive those who ask for forgiveness, Amir has served his time and has been rehabilitated, and is bowling brilliantly now,” he has been quoted as saying in an interview.
