NEW YORK (APP) – United Nations Secretary-General, Ban-Ki Moon has welcomed that Pakistan and India have decided to engage in a “Comprehensive” dialogue that will include peace, security and Jammu & Kashmir.
This was stated by Deputy Spokesman of the UN Farhan Haq. He told the reporters at a briefing in response to a question about the developments in Islamabad.
Pakistan and India have agreed to resume composite dialogue under the new title of Comprehensive Bilateral Dialogue.
Under the Dialogue, matters including Peace and Security, Confidence Building Measures, Jammu and Kashmir, Siachen, Sir Creek, Wullar Barrage, Tulbul Navigation Project, Economic and Commercial Cooperation, Counterterrorism, Narcotics Control and Humanitarian Issues, People to People exchanges and Religious Tourism will be discussed.
