DHAKA – Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 11 runs in the third and final ODI to win the three-match series 2-1 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Chasing 291, Pakistan were bowled out for 279 in 50 overs after losing early wickets. Despite a brilliant 106 from Salman Ali Agha, Pakistan fell short in the final over.
For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed led the bowling attack with 4-49, while Mustafizur Rahman took three wickets.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted 290 runs, powered by a superb 107 from Tanzid Hasan. Pakistan’s best bowler was Haris Rauf, who claimed 3-52.
