Saulat Mirza s execution halted for another month

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – President Mamnoon Hussain on Saturday accepted the request of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to halt the execution of death row MQM activist Saulat Mirza for another 30 days.

The convicted will now be hanged on April 30, according to the new order, in Mach Jail of Balochistan.

Mirza was ordered to be hanged on March 19 but the execution was postponed after his video-tape had surfaced in which he was seen leveling allegations against MQM chief for ordering murders in Karachi.

Later on the local court ordered to execute Mirza on April1 but the premier ased the president to delay the execution for a month.
