SC extends suspension of arrest warrants of Ayyan Ali in customs inspector murder case

ISLAMABAD – Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) on Tuesday extended its order to suspend the arrest warrants issued for model Ayan Ali till 21st September.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Amir Hani heard the case during which Ayyan’s lawyer Latif Khosa informed the court that the model’s life was in danger as miscreants could also kill her like Qandeel Baloch.

The judge said that they could not interfere in the investigation process as a proper case had been lodged against the model. They added that she could apply for pre-arrest bail.

The lawyer of Ayan Ali assured the court that the model was ready for investigation in murder case.

While talking to media, Latif Khosa said that the officials had changed legal policies in the case of Ayyan, which is condemnable.
