DUBAI (Web Desk) – A 16-year-old girl of Pakistani origin became pregnant after her mother forced into prostitution in Dubai, the Khaleej Times reported.
According to the reports, the case was originally registered in August last year and another hearing is set for September 1 this year.
The prosecution record confirmed that the girl was below 17 years when she was offered to several men by her own mother while she was residing in Dubai’s Al Waheeda area.
In her statement with the court, the girl said that she was forced to do so by her own mother. “Initially, I refused but later it became a routine practice, she dropped at different hotel where men used to wait for me,” she said.
Meanwhile, the mother has claimed that the girl was doing the prostitution readily. She said that the practice began while she was working as a maid with a business and needed some more money to pay debts.
