White House petition to declare India a terrorist state launched, will get official response if it gets 100,000 signatures

WASHINGTON – In a reaction to the petition filed by two US lawmakers seeking Pakistan to be declared a state sponsoring terrorism, a White House petition to declare India a terrorist state has also been launched.

The petition argued that the United States should move to brand India as terrorist state because it “is involved in spreading terrorism and in bloody proxy wars against it’s adjoining countries particularly Islamic Republic of Pakistan, especially in the province of Balochistan, Federally Administrated Tribal Areas and Metropolitan City of Karachi.”

It also mentioned the detained Indian spy, Kulbushan Yadev, as an evidence to Indian interference in Pakistan.

“Yadev in an Indian Spy working for Indian Agency ‘Research and Analysis Wing’ for the purpose of espionage and sabotage in Pakistan,” the petition reads.

“He [Kulbushan Yadev] has confessed to be engaged in various terrorism activities in Balochistan including aiding TTP, Al-Qaeda and ISIS,” it argued while suggesting the US government to designate “terrorist state” status to India.

If the petition successfully earns at least 100,000 signatures in the next 30 days (October 27, 2016), the White House will have to submit an official response within 60 days.

The petition may also be taken to the Secretary of the State, after the response of the White House, who will have to arrange a formal briefing for the US Congress within 30 days.
