LAHORE – Government and private educational institutions across Punjab and Sindh have been reopened from today (Monday) after winter vacations.
Attendance was reportedly poor on the first day of schools after a week-long holiday.
Students greeted each other with warmth although many of them felt sad after conclusion of holidays. Winter vacations in Lahore schools were announced on December 24.
Schools in federal capital also reopened on Monday.
On the other hand, schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also reopened. However, schools in hilly areas of the province will remain closed till February 28.
