MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Anushka Sharma will turn a year older on May 1, 2015. And it looks like Virat Kohli has already started working on her birthday plans.
A picture of the cricketer surfaced on a social networking site recently, where Virat is spotted in a handbag shop. The picture shows Virat looking at few ladies handbags.
Virat and Anushka’s relationship seems to be getting strong with each passing day. They are spotted together more often these days, but they remain unaffected by the paparazzi. In the past, Virat has slammed the detractors who blamed him and alleged girlfriend, Anushka Sharma, for India’s ouster from World Cup 2015.
The cricketer spoke about his ladylove in an interaction with The Telegraph. He said that he and Anushka see their relationship very differently. They are known individuals, so people might look at their relationship as a fantasy or a fairytale, but they don’t look at it like that.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli don’t seem to be hiding their relationship anymore, and are often spotted together. A new picture of the two has emerged on social networking sites, wherein ladylove Anushka seems to be accompanying Virat on the Royal Challengers Bangalore bus ride.
Since Virat is the captain of the said IPL team, Anushka seems to have hopped in to be with him. Virat’s team, RCB won the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, and Anushka was spotted cheering for the team.
According to a report on Pinkvilla.com, Virat has claimed that Anushka helps him stay stable and play better. The report quotes him as saying that, after the semi-final in the World Cup, the way people reacted about Anushka, he was sad to know that people in India can actually think in that fashion – burning pictures and blaming her for the team’s loss and for his failure.
He also pointed out that no one came out and said she is the reason he got four centuries in the Test series. He reasons that she was there in every Test in that series, watching him and cheering him on. He went so far as to say that people didn’t know that she was the major reason why he was able to play in that Test series the way he did.
He further states that on the field he was feeling very happy and stable as he was spending quality time with her.
Virat also said that he was shocked to know that people can target someone’s personal life. He defends Anushka saying that she had no relevance to the defeat and only has a positive effect on me.
He also confessed that their relationship was stronger due to the incident.
According to reports, Virat Kohli has slammed his detractors who blamed him and alleged girlfriend, Anushka Sharma for India’s ouster from World Cup 2015. He was quoted in the report as saying that, “At the human level, I would say I was hurt and the people who said those things and the way they said should be ashamed of themselves.”
He also commented on his own performance at the World Cup tournament. “Personally, I was very disappointed. In last five years, the number of matches I’ve helped India win and the consistently I’ve played is more than anyone else in the team. I don’t think there’s anybody else in the team who has done better than me,” he said.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma seems not to be in a mood to reveal anything about her relationship. Recently when the actress was asked about Virat Kohli, she was quick to respond. “Wherever I go, it is my personal life. I don’t tell anyone to come and see me and take my photographs. It doesn’t make a difference to me if anyone clicks a picture of mine or not.
“I am not liable to anyone to answer these questions. It is not something that is related to my work. I have never spoken about my personal life ever and I won’t in the future, because that is completely my right. And I would like to stick to that.”
