MUMBAI – Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has refuted the news regarding any suggested match between Peshawar Zalmi and its team here on Thursday.
The clarification of Shah Rukh Khan’s co-owned team came after media reports in Pakistan implied that Shah Rukh made a telephone call to Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi and floated the idea of a match between the two teams at a neutral venue.
KKR through its verified Twitter account has claimed that no communication in this regard ever happened and KKR would not be playing any unauthorized match.
