A bizarre photo that emerged from Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia, where while opening an anti-extremism centre, the US president, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi of Egypt were photographed touching a glowing orb, has gone viral on social media.
Local media reported that the leaders’ placing their hands on the globe “officially activated the centre and launched a splashy welcome video”.
When the picture came out on Sunday, it went viral on social media with the obvious pop-culture references, comparisons and funny Photoshopped memes.
