LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson on Sunday strongly rejected the news reports that suggested the Pakistan was interested to play its home series in India.
The spokes, in a brief statement issued to media, said the series will be played in United Arab Emirates (UAE) according to the schedule in December this year.
Earlier an India based newspaper Hindustan Times had claimed that PCB chairman Sheharyar Khan said “We would like to make India our home. India will be more cost-effective,” in an interview.
The report further quoted Khan saying that India are likely to play a full series against Pakistan in the UAE in December.
India have not faced their neighbors in a Test match since Pakistani militants killed 166 people in a terrorist incident in Mumbai in 2008, although they did host an ODI series in 2012.
