Civil servant mysteriously found dead outside hotel in Peshawar

PESHAWAR – A civil servant from Shangla in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was mysteriously found dead in the limits of the Kabli police station on Wednesday night.

According to the police, the man was found unconscious outside the Rose Hotel last night and was taken to Lady Reading Hospital when the doctors pronounced him dead.

Later the deceased was identified as Syed Qadir, assistant commissioner of Shangla. The police recovered his service card, CNIC and cash from his pocket, Express Tribune reported.

After investigation, it revealed that the man was in Peshawar to attend a court hearing and was staying at the hotel near Shoba Chowk.

The police have launched an investigation and sent the boy for an autopsy to determine if it was murder or a natural death.
