Halal-police is seen every now and then on social media giving the ultimate “Religious” statements
Fashion policing aside, halal policing is something which is often seen on social media, same thing happened to @PaliTing a twitter user who decided to share her experience of “Halal policing”.
She shared a screenshot in which a man questioned her faith on the basis of her attire. Despite the fact that she covers her head with hijab the man continued to question her faith.

Well according to Islam;
“O Children of Adam, We have brought down to you garments to cover your private parts, as well as for adornment, yet the garment of reverence is the best. These are some of God’s signs, perhaps they will take heed”. 7:26
The idea of a female covering her body and dressing modestly is the basic point. Women and men both are to cover themselves. There is no specific point where wearing “jeans” make you a non Muslim. Your faith and practices are something between you and Allah , socially and even religiously your clothes don’t define who you are.
People on twitter hopped on:
Whaaat??? Lol!

If jeans are haram then men should stop wearing jeans before women because you don’t want to die non-Muslim, no? It’s high time we realise the difference between extremist acts and religion. Before pointing out fingers we should correct ourselves first because we all are answerable for our own character and practices. Peace.
