LAHORE (Web Desk) – PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan said that cricket and politics must be kept separate, hoping that series with India will be played according to the schedule.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has linked the possibility of tour with approval from the government.
His remarks came in the middle of a political tension between two countries following controversial remarks of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to Bangladesh.
“Cricket and politics should not be mixed with each other,” Khan said, adding that Pakistan had toured India in the past despite threats.
