LAHORE – With Meera just announcing her permanent departure from Pakistan, rumors have gone wild on the actress’s life and everything related to it.
Latest in the stream was that filmmaker Saqib Malik was now making a film on Meera’s life.

To put these rumors to rest once and for all, Saqib denied the news in an exclusive to Images.
“The news is incorrect. My film is categorically not based on Meera but a character drama based on a variety of social themes. And the script is still in the works,” Saqib corrected the notion.
He continued saying that he will announce more details as the work on the film progresses.
