Hilary Clinton chooses Shabana Azmi for a US- Funded project

NEW YORK- Renowned Indian actor Shabana Azmi has been nominated as the Global Leadership Ambassador for Women in Public Service Project (WPSP). It is a Hillary Clinton-founded programme for the betterment of the next generation of women all over the world.

According to the official WPSP website, The US- Department f State and the Seven Sister Colleges of Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and Wellesley College have started this initiative to help women from all over the world.

Indian Actresses ‘Tisca’ also congratulated ‘Shabana Azmi’ on her selection on twitter.

Shabana Azmi expressed gratitude for being selected as an ambassador and she recently tweeted that, “I am honored to be nominated as Global Leadership Ambassador for Women in Public Service Project at Wilson Centre, USA,”

The veteran actress emphasized that WPSP’s goal of 50×50 is an important mission that needs people to step up and enable and empower more women to lead.

Shabana has been working for the rights of women for a long time and she is well known for her services and devotion.
