GUJRAT – Scores of politicians are switching loyalties ahead of upcoming general elections and the latest addition in the ‘defection club’ is of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’ Member Provincial Assembly, Chaudhary Ashraf.
Ashraf, who became a lawmaker from Gujrat district of Punjab is set to join Imran Khan led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf very soon.

According to media reports, Chaudhary Ashraf has announced to contest upcoming next election through PTI’s platform.
Ch Ashraf bagged 39428 votes from PP-112 (Gujrat-V) beating Tanveer Ashraf Kaira of PPP in the general elections of 2013.
Earlier, a former lawmaker from Punjab, Raza Nasrullah Ghuman, who was PML-N’s Faisalabad legislator joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), dealing a blow to the embattled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
