Reham Khan visited hospital to meet heatstroke patients; no patients found

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Reham Khan, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, visited Jinnah Hospital, Karachi to meet heatwave affectees, however there were no heatstroke patients in the hospital.

Jinnah Hospital Spokesperson, Seemi Jamali confirmed that there were no heatstroke patients in the hospital when Khan arrived. She said heatstroke patients had been discharged following change in the weather which had turned pleasant over the past few days.

Reham visited some patients in the surgical ward and at the end of her tour told the media that the hospital staff had taken good care of the heatstroke patients, even though heatstroke patients were not present in the vicinity. The hospital staff told Reham that the emergency ward has a capacity of 100 patients, while 10,000 heatstroke patients were treated in the ward.
