The four most outrageous claims in Reham Khan s book

Reham Khan’s much awaited auto-biography became a focal point of media attention the previous month for resembling an exposé more than an auto-biography has finally been released and is laden with accusations and allegations against Imran Khan. The allegations relate not only to his conduct with his wife and other women he has been in relationships with, but a general critique of his habits, mannerisms and attitude.

Here are the 4 most outrageous claims Reham has made in her book:

1) Imran the abusive husband: Imran and his ex-wife Jemima had an abusive relationship

Contrary to popular belief about the deep love and respect Imran and his former-wife with whom he has two children share, Reham alleges that Khan shared a very different story. She alleges that Imran and Jemima had a relationship that was marred with insecurities about each others past and episodes with them hitting and swearing at each other were common.

2) Imran Khan the drug addict: Imran was addicted to various narcotics

The 45-year old former journalist turned author also accuses her ex-husband of drug abuse, narrating accounts of catching him doing lines of cocaine at odd times and being supplied with drugs ranging from cocaine to Xanax by his cousin, Bobby.

3) Raising questions on Imran Khans sexual orientation

In a shocking chapter, Reham alleges that Imran Khan has had many homosexual experiences in his life. Emphasising the PTI supremos hedonistic lifestyle, Reham alleges that Imran Khan has been informed in sexual encounters regardless of gender. She claims he was open to encounters with transgenders and was interested in men. She elaborates that he looked up to Pervez Khattak and always complimented him on his good looks and status in his youth as a student at Aitchison College.

4) Imran Khan the Zionist: The PTI leader and his links to Zionism

An age-old method that is often used in Pakistan to easily malign someone is to accuse them of their hidden Zionist agenda. Reham Khan does just that in accusing Imran Khan of being an operative of the ‘Yahoodi lobby.’ Allegations that have followed him since his marriage to Jemima Goldsmith in 1995 have been fired up again in Reham Khan’s autobiography. She says that Jemima’s father was a tycoon who set up Imran’s future for him and it is through his relationship and links with the Goldsmith family that Imran chose to marry Jemima. She points out that Khan’s former father-in-law was extremely pro-Israel.

The nature of the book had been revealed when some parts of it were leaked the previous month, stirring up a social media storm against Reham Khan. Jemima Khan was among the many who commented on the shocking contents of the book, tweeting: “On Reham Khan’s book I’ve been assured that it’s too libelous to be published in the UK but if it is published here, I will be suing for defamation & breach of privacy on behalf of my (then) 16 yr old son & in relation to the moronic, re-hashed Zionist conspiracy theories. Sigh.”

PTI has made its stance on the book clear, viewing it as nothing more than a calculated campaign of slander and malignment before the elections.
