LAHORE – Happy Bhaag Jayegi was full of quirks and twists that we enjoyed with some snacks and some laughs accompanying us. A light film like that is just what we need when we unwind after a long day. The good news is that the sequel to the laugh riot is on it’s way. ‘Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi’ will have Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. Earlier ‘Happy’ was played by Diana Penty who will still be mentioned due to the storyline revolving around her.

Sonakshi is abducted and flown from Amritsar to China where Jimmy Shergill is still looking for his lady love who had ran off before their wedding, as shown in the prequel.
The 2016 prequel ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ starred Jimmy Shergill, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal and Piyush Mishra.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the comedy is slated for release in August.
